Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) is a walk behind Forklift truck used to move pallets about quickly and with little effort. These are used in warehouses and are often used on shop floors to transport stock to various parts of the shop.
The PPT allows the driver to both lift and shift the loads with little to no effort and still be precise, the Powered Pallet Truck is an inexpensive and smart alternative to a forklift truck. The PPT is powered electrically through a battery, this allows a full shift of usage and recharging is on a charger which means the PPT can be charged overnight ready to be used the next day.
Safety is important and a requirement at all times, the low rear skirt helps avoid catching people’s feet underneath the PPT and a reversing button on the control arm also stops injury. Brakes are also used on the PPT despite it being not as powerful as a normal forklift, the brake is attached to the hand operated part of the handle known as the Tiller Arm, all other functions to operate the forklift would be found there.
